Earth Day at HopCat

HopCat takes pride in their sustainability initiatives, especially the ones that allow the opportunity to partner with urban farms, community gardens & groups that are inspiring sustainable growth within their local communities.

Creating productive green spaces within urban environments is one of the most impactful ways to further positive change. This includes cleaning up abandoned & vacant lots, rebuilding healthy soil, harvesting rainwater, supporting wildlife & local pollinators, planting trees or gardens & growing healthy, organic & accessible produce for local communities, often creating jobs & stimulating the local economy.

This Earth Day (4/22/18) HopCat will be partnering with & raising funds for 15 different non-profit organizations doing just that. Hopcat Kansas City is partnering with The Urban Farming Guys. This nonprofit exists to help establish sustainable communities in the most difficult, overlooked places. They are going into the most blighted areas to join arms with vulnerable communities around KC.
